Former Astronaut Accidentally Exposes NASA

Charles Duke inadvertently refutes official moon photos.

Even though I have many doubts regarding various issues of the NASA moon landings, in this interview with Glenn Beck, Charles Duke comes across as an honest, humble man telling what appears to be a truthful account of being an astronaut and traveling to land on the moon and living to tell the story.  He’s part of the generation of military men with ice water in their veins living a life on the edge of death.  He was a jet fighter pilot, test pilot and lunar module pilot, ending his career as a Brigadier General in the Air Force.

In Remembrance Of Molly

“Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog. It merely expands the heart.”―Author Unknown

Losing a beloved pet never gets any easier the older you get.  I’ve grieved over many dogs but the loss this year is particularly hard.  When you live alone with a dog the dog plays a major part in your day and much will revolve around them.  Such as getting them fed, letting them go out to relieve themselves, exercise or let them do their outdoor investigations is a commonly repeated daily routine.  You learn their moods, their ways of communication, their days when they seem bored or a bit off.  Your life and theirs become intertwined as you both bond together.

The MMU Story Marches On

"The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

William Shakespeare, Hamlet

I’ve been fascinated with the famous untethered space walk by astronaut Bruce McCandless in 1984 for several years now. I’ve written several articles on it and created one video.  I am having changing thoughts on this event and will share them below.  It’s an event well known and accepted in the history of space exploration and lifted to legendary status.  Forty years on and it still appears in video’s online, science articles and even McCandless’s son jumped in the fray to write a biography of his father’s life and importantly, the adventure in tether-less space walking.  I am  intrigued at how an event like this is so well documented, which at the same time, is contradicted by NASA’s own official documents. Which means, despite the incredible photos created of the space walk as it was supposedly taking place it couldn’t have happened.  At least not the way we were told.

Holiday Camera Prices

Recently I got an advertising leaflet from B&H Photo-Video, one of the top retailers in photo, video and audio gear and one of which I have bought a lot of gear from.  The prices to say the least were astounding!  The idea that the camera gear listed priced in the thousands would be Holiday shopping ideas borders on the absurd.  The prices could very well be from the tariffs imposed on Asian manufactured products and many photography news websites are of this view.
