Losing a beloved pet never gets any easier the older you get. I’ve grieved over many dogs but the loss this year is particularly hard. When you live alone with a dog the dog plays a major part in your day and much will revolve around them. Such as getting them fed, letting them go out to relieve themselves, exercise or let them do their outdoor investigations is a commonly repeated daily routine. You learn their moods, their ways of communication, their days when they seem bored or a bit off. Your life and theirs become intertwined as you both bond together.
