This is probably one of the more confusing NASA space stories one can encounter. It was reported in August of 2018 that there was an oxygen leak on the International Space Station (ISS). The source was not a hull breach but a 2mm hole in a docked Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft. Initially it was thought to be a micro meteor. Roscosmos, the Russian equivalent of NASA, concluded it was not an external impact of a micro meteoroid but a drilled hole done internally. It’s never been determined when this was done.
