The failure of the criminal justice system to protect one child.
A terrible event in a parent’s life is to lose a child. Either through death or disappearance. Tammy Rief’s horror of losing her son to human traffickers is epic in scale. It’s nearly an unbelievable tale of how a child is targeted for abduction and how many crimes are committed by those whose duty is to uphold the law and they are never prosecuted in the process.
Tammy has referred to the abduction of her son Jonah as a legal kidnapping. According to her, the powers of law enforcement and judicial agencies were in cahoots to bring about the abduction of this child. She believes she and her son were targeted and after three custody challenges.
Elements of the ordeal as Tammy states include:
- Custody battles with Brian Sullivan (dual citizen of USA and Australia) claiming parental rights, even after proof he was not Jonah’s father.
- Sullivan wins temporary custody of Jonah, when Tammy wins him back shows signs of abuse.
- Abuse includes stitches on face; ligature marks on wrists and ankles; rectal bleeding; emotional distress.
- No abuse charges made against Sullivan.
- In all legal proceedings no warrants were ever issued.
- Achieved passport for Jonah without Tammy’s permission or paperwork.
- Brian Sullivan eventually won custody and Jonah was transferred out of the USA to Australia and eventually to other countries.
This is just a partial accounting of a grueling story of child abduction by corrupt State actors bent on, and party to, child sex trafficking.
